Care at Home (Wearside) Limited is an established home care company with over thirty years of experience of providing tailor made, bespoke care packages to people across Wearside.


We have various positions available for caring individuals to join our small, friendly team and help make a difference to local people.

Training and development is key to achieving our aims, we invest in our people and provide a free  comprehensive in house training programme that incorporates the care certificate standards. We also encourage participation in our E-Learning, Distance Learning and specialist clinical training programmes. 


We have a fantastic on boarding 'Prepare to Care' programme for staff who are new to the sector and our own fully equipped training room where you can practice various scenarios that will support you in your learning journey.


Our training is fun, interactive and engaging and is based around the skills for care framework we also include shadowing days and CPD courses to ensure you feel supported and confident before starting your new role. 


We work in partnership with our sister company Wearside Care Training and with Derwentside College to promote undertaking nationally recognised qualifications and continuing professional development throughout your career with Care at Home.
